- Will I have full ownership of the completed website?
- Yes. You will have full ownership of the completed website. In addition, you will own the full codebase, meaning you will not be locked into a specific vendor or platform.
- Which payment gateways can you integrate?
- We build for the gateways South African customers already trust. Recent storefronts run on PayFast (cards and instant EFT) and Stitch. If your business needs a different provider, we scope the integration up front.
- Will I receive access to the domain and hosting accounts?
- If you already own your domain and hosting, they stay in your name. We only need temporary access during development to deploy the site. If you don't have hosting yet, we'll recommend a setup you own outright.
- What platform will the website be built on?
- We do not use website builders or platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, or Wix. The website will be custom-coded, making it platform-agnostic and giving you greater flexibility and ownership.
- What monthly or annual costs should I expect after launch?
- Just your hosting and domain fees, typically a few hundred rand a year. There are no platform subscriptions, no plugin licences, and no fees payable to us unless you choose the optional support package.
- What does the SEO optimisation include?
- The SEO optimisation includes the implementation of SEO best practices such as page titles, meta descriptions, structured page hierarchy, image optimisation, mobile responsiveness, performance optimisation, sitemap generation, and search engine indexing readiness. This provides a solid foundation for search engine visibility, although ongoing SEO campaigns and content strategies are separate services.
- Can features or pages be added to the website after launch?
- Yes. The website is built to grow with your business. Additional pages, features, or functionality can be added at any stage. Because the foundation is already in place, new additions are typically faster and more cost-effective than starting from scratch. Any additions would simply be scoped and quoted separately.
- Are any maintenance or support services included after launch?
- There is no mandatory monthly maintenance fee. We do offer an optional maintenance package at R1,200 per month for ongoing updates and support. Alternatively, changes can be quoted on a case-by-case basis. In practice, for small adjustments or minor fixes, we are often happy to assist at no charge. Larger updates or development work would simply be quoted separately.
